Your own website. Not another Patreon page.

A website and app made around you, on your domain and in your look, with memberships, posts, video, courses and merch built in. Connect Patreon, and your patrons keep their access while you switch.

Why creators leave Patreon.

  1. 10% of everything, forever.

Pages published after August 4, 2025 pay a 10% platform fee, plus card processing, payout fees and 2.5% when a member pays in another currency.

  2. Apple takes its cut.

Outside the US, new memberships bought in Patreon’s iOS app go through Apple, which takes 30%, and Patreon raises iOS prices by default to cover it.

  3. Still Patreon’s page.

A custom domain changes the address, not the page: Patreon’s layout, Patreon’s sign-in, and a redesign forced on every page on November 16, 2026.

What you get on Drate.

  1. Your website and your app.

A site on your own domain, in your look, and your own iOS and Android app on Pro. Not a page on Patreon’s template.

  2. Everything you sell, together.

Memberships, members-only posts and video, courses and print-on-demand merch on one site, with one sign-in for your fans.

  3. 0% on Pro.

Pro is $12 a month and takes nothing from your memberships, however much you grow.

A flat $12, not 10%.

What you’d pay on $1,000 a month in memberships.

How switching works.

No big move and no patron data to export. Your patrons link their own Patreon accounts, and Patreon keeps running beside Drate until you’re ready.

  1. Start your site.

Pick a starting point, add your name and choose your look. Your site is ready in minutes, and nothing is public until you publish.

  2. Connect Patreon.

Map each Patreon tier to a Drate membership, so every tier knows what it unlocks on your site.

  3. Patrons keep their access.

A patron signs in on your site and links their Patreon account, then gets what their tier includes. Nobody buys anything again.

  4. Move billing when they’re ready.

A patron can move their membership to Drate. It starts when their paid Patreon period ends, so nobody pays twice.

Side by side.

Everything below is included in Drate’s free plan unless it says otherwise.
